Waterproof Installation
This horizontal cable seal from Scanstrut is the ideal solution for waterproof cable routing through decks and bulkheads, making it perfect for the installation of antenna and navigation light cables.
A tapered gland forms a waterproof seal around the cable, and a closed-cell foam gasket between the housing and deck ensures a 100% waterproof installation.
All fastenings are made from stainless steel 316 to resist corrosion in marine environments, and the housing is made of tough, impact-resistant plastic with rounded edges to prevent snagging.
The unit comes with both pre-drilled seals (suitable for cables with 6-10mm diameter) and a blind seal for self-drilling.
